About me…
Hi, I’m Harrison Whelan — a Los Angeles-based video editor, director, and content producer with a passion for storytelling, clean execution, and bold visual strategy.
With over 8 years of hands-on experience, I’ve worked across a wide spectrum of formats and industries—from short-form paid ads and brand campaigns to live events, vertical dramas, and AI-driven narrative content. I’m just as comfortable editing from a quiet studio as I am on set or in unpredictable environments. My adaptability is my superpower—and it's taken me from real estate shoots and fast-paced marketing campaigns to capturing content at sea with Princess Cruises.
Currently, I lead Synth Film Studios, where I oversee the development of narrative pieces powered by generative AI. From writing and visual development to final edit, I’m exploring new ways to tell emotionally resonant stories using the latest tools in AI filmmaking.
Previously, I edited the vertical series Mafia’s Captive Bride for DramaBox, collaborating with producers and directors to deliver a full season of cinematic mobile-first episodes. I handled narrative editing, special effects, and post audio—resolving a major ADR challenge with AI tools that saved the company thousands. At Revive, I crafted paid social ads optimized for performance, and at Unis, I led brand campaigns, implemented AI workflows, and directed nationwide content shoots. I’ve also contributed to commercial work for major brands like Wells Fargo and AT&T.
Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and motion graphics, I bring speed, consistency, and creative instinct to every frame. Whether building a campaign or shaping a character arc, I’m all in on the story.
Let’s collaborate.
